Mercury Retrograde (Video below)

This Mercury retrograde has an watery essence to it, mixed with juicy creative fire. Astrology is multi-layered, and at this time there are several layers to weave together to shed light on the sky picture of now.

The deep layer is made up of cardinal planets and asteroids, making up a T-square. This includes all the planets and nodes that run between the red lines in charts below, from the 2nd and 8th houses. They have 3 retrogrades, and the nodes in retrograde motion.

Those retrogrades are Pluto and Saturn with the South Node, opposing Venus, the Sun and Mercury now in Cancer. Mercury was in Cancer most of June, and moved into Leo, and has now retrograded back to Cancer, as of yesterday July 18, and will go all the way back to 23 degrees, crossing over the degree of our most recent Eclipse 24 Capricorn/Cancer. As if things weren't heavy enough! ha The lion above is wondering, "hey what happened to all the fun?" We at least have Mars in Leo, waxing towards Juno - so we are married to our creative flare and creative projects, if we can remember not to get caught up in the Cancerian realms to deep (understatement of the year--we've had a load of Cancer issues...) I love Mercury retrograde time. Things are quieter, the intuition is stronger--very good time to practice strengthening telepathy. This is one reason energies get muddled up during Mercury retrograde. Most are living left-brained, but for we right-brained people it's a time lapse in bliss, at least it is for me.

I tend to write more, on a deep level, and accomplish a great deal. Mainly because I live that way already, and the Mercury retrograde is an invitation to take it even deeper. Of course there can be drama with the Leo, though harnessed for creative self-actualization something unique and special can come out of this time (and the New Moon at the end of the month will bring us loads of Leo, furthering our special projects, etc.). With Mercury in Cancer, dreams will be deeper now, sleep amazing...if we are in alignment of rest, relaxation, RE everything basically. And all the themes that were up during the Eclipse, July 16th, and the weeks before, will be reconsidered, reaccessed. What was happening for you at the eclipse and what is brewing now?
